How this calculator works
This calculator computes weighted GPA from courses and credit hours. Add or remove course rows with grades and credits to see the GPA. Use it for academic planning, grade tracking, and understanding how credit weight affects GPA. The key inputs are a list of courses with grades and credit hours. The output is the weighted GPA. Real-world applications include academic planning, college applications, grade tracking, and semester review. The calculator multiplies each grade point by course credits, divides total points by total attempted credits, and ignores rows without positive credits. It uses a common 4.0 scale with plus and minus grades. Empty rows without a selected grade and positive credits are ignored. Different grading scales are not supported directly on this page. The weighted GPA reflects both grade performance and course difficulty through credit hours.
